Updates queue locally and sync as soon as you're back online. The owner's page will just show the last known status until then.

Can I customize the grooming stages?

On Free, you can rename and reorder your existing stages anytime — you just can't add brand-new ones. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited custom stages (add, remove, rename, reorder).

How do I check in a returning client without creating a duplicate?

When you tap Check in, start typing the dog or owner's name in the search box — matching profiles show up instantly. Pick one and you'll see a confirmation card with their photo and details before the groom starts, so you never create a second profile by accident. Only tap 'Add a new dog' if it's genuinely new — you'll be reminded that it creates a brand-new dog profile.

How do I send photo updates?

On any appointment, scroll to 'Send a photo update' and tap Take photo or From library. You'll see a preview plus a caption box — type an optional note ('Bella loving her blueberry bath!') and tap Send. The photo + caption post together on the owner's tracking page, attached to whichever stage you most recently tapped. Photo updates are a Pro feature.

Can I add my own logo and brand color to the owner's tracking page?

Yes, on Pro. Upload your shop logo and pick a theme color in Settings — both show on every owner tracking page. Free plan uses the standard GroomTrackr look.

Can I add a profile pic when I check a dog in?

Yes. The check-in form has a profile photo picker at the top — snap or choose a pic and it's saved to the dog's profile right away. You can change it anytime from the dog's profile, or from the profile-photo section of an appointment.

How does the pinned message work?

On the appointment, tap '+ Add a pinned message', type your message, then tap Send. It pins to the TOP of the owner's tracking page — separate from the stage timeline — and stays there until you change or clear it. Great for 'running 15 mins late' or pickup instructions. Nothing goes live until you tap Send, so you can edit freely.

How do I mark a groom complete?

When the dog has been picked up, open the appointment and tap 'Mark picked up & complete' at the bottom. The appointment is archived off your dashboard but stays in the dog's groom history forever.

Open the Dogs tab, tap any dog, and you'll see their full history plus a button to start a new groom for them.

How do I upgrade, cancel, or change my plan?

Go to Settings → Billing. Pro is $15/month, recurring — cancel anytime with one tap. When you cancel, you won't be charged again and you keep full Pro access until the end of the month you've already paid for. After that, your account moves to Free automatically.

Yes. Each groomer's data is fully isolated. Owners only see the specific tracking link you share with them — nothing else.

Free includes up to 15 appointments per month. When you hit the limit, you'll get a clear notice — you still have full access to every existing appointment (update stages, send pinned messages, mark complete), you just can't check in new dogs until the next month or until you upgrade to Pro.
