GroomTrackr
Up and running in 60 seconds

Your first groom, step by step.

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up with your email. Verify it from your inbox and you're in. No credit card needed.

💡 Tip: Use the email you check most often — that's where reset links and notifications go.

  2. 2

    Name your shop

In Settings, set your shop name. This shows at the top of every owner's tracking page so they know it's from you.

💡 Tip: Even if you're solo, give it a real name like 'Maya's Mobile Grooming'.

  3. 3

    (Optional) Tweak your stages

Default stages cover most groomers: Checked in → Bathing → Drying → Grooming → Ready. Rename or reorder them anytime to match your flow.

💡 Tip: On Free, you can edit your existing stages but can't add new ones. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited custom stages, plus your own logo and brand color on owner tracking pages.

  4. 4

    Check in your first dog

Tap 'Check in' on the dashboard. Add a profile pic (optional), the pet, owner, and a phone number. Hit go — GroomTrackr creates a tracking link automatically.

💡 Tip: Snap the profile pic right at check-in so it shows up on the owner's tracking page from the start.

  5. 5

    Send the tracking link

Copy the link and text it to the owner. They open it in any browser — no app needed.

  6. 6

Tap to update as you work

When you move from bathing to drying to ready, tap the stage. The owner's page updates instantly.

  7. 7

    Send a photo mid-groom

Tap the photo button on the appointment, pick a pic, preview it, then hit 'Send to owner & set as profile pic'. It pushes to the owner's page and saves as the dog's profile picture in one step.

  8. 8

    Pin a note (optional)

Type a quick message in the 'Pinned note for owner' box — running late, special shampoo, anything — then tap 'Send note'. Nothing goes live until you tap Send.

  9. 9

    Complete the groom

Once the dog has been picked up, scroll to the bottom of the appointment and tap 'Mark picked up & complete'. It's archived off your dashboard but stays in the dog's history.
